1st Contact Forex is a part of the 1st Contact Group. It was found in 1994. 1st Contact offers a range of services to people living and working in the UK.

In 2001, 1st Contact started providing money transfers and foreign exchange facilities to our clients – services generally given by the high street banks and money transfer agents.

We foresaw the chance to provide a fast, safe and fund saving money transfer service, with highly competitive exchange rates and an unmatched service standard that provides customers continual access to skilled advisors. Our customers also conduct their transactions online and use their debit cards, making ours an around-the-clock service.

Our money transfers and forex facilities have been extremely famous and we now have over 40,000 registered customers. We do almost 100,000 transactions every year, with the turnover of £100 million each year.

1st Contact Forex’s growing client base includes migrants transferring money home to support family and relatives, pay off debt, buy homes etc; expatriates repatriating funds; individuals investing overseas and small and medium-sized businesses importing and exporting goods.

At 1st Contact, the safety of our customers’ money is of prime value. 1st Contact Forex is registered with HM Customs & Excise in the UK as a money services business.

1st Contact Forex Pty Ltd is an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL) holder issued by ASIC to handle in foreign exchange.)

We make required capital and liquidity necessities. We also abide by the financial controls and KYC (Know your client) policies and processes of our corporate banker HSBC and ANZ Ltd. All client funds are held in assigned Client Money bank accounts with our corporate banker HSBC and ANZ Ltd.

Our head office is in New Oxford Street in London and we have offices in Melbourne, Australia and Cape Town, South Africa.
